Chitterne Community Benefit Society

The Chitterne Community Benefit Society was created to save the King's Head for use as a pub and social hub for use by Chitterne and the surrounding villages. It is funded by private share subscription.

The pub has now been open since June 2025 and is thriving as a classic country pub and a centre for village activity under the stewardship of two experienced tenants, Nick and Jo White.   As at Oct 26, there are limited shares still available and we will continue to raise funds to cover any contingencies that occur.
